Flavors of the Week 11/21/16

It's almost Thanksgiving, and we've picked some great flavors that will be perfect for your family meals this weekend.  These oils and vinegars will work with breakfast, Thanksgiving Dinner, tea time, and dessert.  Use them to elevate the inevitable leftovers that will fill your refrigerator after the festivities.

Basil Lemongrass EVOO and Raspberry Ginger White Balsamic Vinegar:  This combination adds a touch of Asian flavors to fish, shrimp, chicken, roasted veggies, or salads.  Also, try adding a couple drops of Raspberry Ginger to your tea for a delicious treat.

Butter Infused EVOO and Bordeaux Cherry Dark Balsamic Vinegar:  Combine 2 parts butter infused EVOO and 1 part Bordeaux cherry dark balsamic for an extraordinary syrup for pancakes, waffles, and French toast.  This combo is also great on steak and salads.

Sage and Onion EVOO and Garlic Cilantro Dark Balsamic Vinegar:  This unique pairing goes well with roasted veggies, especially portobello mushrooms and potatoes.  Add sage and onion EVOO to stuffing or mashed potatoes at your Thanksgiving dinner.

Garlic EVOO and Hickory Dark Balsamic:  If you are looking for a flavorful marinade, look no further.  This blend tastes incredible with steaks and pork.  Place a pork tenderloin in a crockpot, pour this combination over it, and cook on low for 4 hours.  Shred with a fork and serve on rolls with a little onion.  Delicious!
